My amazing co-worker, Rachel, just got married!!

Outside the hotel elevator all smiles not only for Rachel but because on our drive over to PA for the wedding, we pulled over in the Bronx and put an offer on a house and not 30 minutes before this picture was taken did we hear that the offer was accepted (our very first house!!)

Charlie & Maria visit!

Another tradition we love and always look forward to is our yearly visit by Charlie & Maria who come all the way from Buffalo, NY to see the ocean (and us!).  Sadly, it was quite cold/rainy on our beach day but the sun did come out in the end.  The day before, we went to a natural history museum we had never visited.  Thank you all for always coming to see us, we appreciate it to no end. Maybe one day we can visit Germany together!!

There is nothing quite as wonderful as a tradition.  Some traditions, like the fourth of July, the whole nation participate in.  Others, like movie night or the Michelson's beach house, are just our little family's tradition.  It is so special and we look forward to it each year.  Logan is growing up so fast that he is just about able to keep up with "the big boys" (Gavin and Chase).  Even something as simple as preparing dinner can be so relaxing and nice when doing it with family you don't get to see too often.  Thank you Ben/Nichole, as always, for the hospitality.  We had such a great time!
